« on: December 21, 2001, 06:26:35 PM »
wassup ya'll, there were alot of new tracks this week, so this list was hard to do.  Here goes......

1. The Shit- DOC, Cube, Ren (Ok, i only heard the snippet, but that 2 min. or whatever was the hotttest shit this week....the beat on here sounded like a really good Dre beat, and of course the featured artists are "the Shit".

2. Doobie Ahtray- Devin (prod. by Premier, i kinew this track would be the one of the dopest in a long time, i can't even desribe this shit)

3. Pork and Beef- The Coup (this song is the dopest, it has the beat from Got Beef by the Eastsidaz, and they flip it!  you gotta hear this song)

4. Repo Man- The Coup ( a classic westcoast song, if you ain't heard this then it is a MUST, i guarantee you will feel it!)

5. Christmas in Hollis- Run DMC (why?, becasue it is almost christmas and you gotta play this shit)

6. The Block- Master P (some guys from my city(edmonton alberta) actually produced a couple tracks on P's new cd, and this is one of them.  While i do hate this entire cd with a passion, it is pretty cool that P hooked up with these cats.  I met them the other day, they are cool cats, 3 of them ranging from 17-23.  )

Still bumpin the latest releases...

1.  Christmas In Hollis - Run DMC
Gotta love the corny video

2.  This G Shit Is Too Much - Warren G
Warren hits us with his best raps on the album, I think.  Tight beat.  Butch Cassidy again has this awesome hook.

3.  Got Urself - Nas
Yea, been seeing this shit a lot on BET...very ill song.

4.  Keepin It Strong - Warren G
Song gew on me, still, the raps aren't special.  I like El DeBarge's part.

5.  Your Women Has Just Been Sighted - Nate Dogg
Catchy song.  Good beat, and Nate does it again with that hook.

6.  Intro - Warren G
Yeah, LoL...I like that intro with Val Young singin in the background.  Tight beat too.

Knoc-turn'al - Knoc
BLAZING song with an ill ass beat provided by Dr. Dre. Knoc is the SHIT!

Lil' Flip - I Can Do Dat
Typical Dirty South track but I love the beat of it. The song is real catchy too. This the next cat to come out of Def Jam South.

Devin - Doobie Ashtray
As teecee said this song is damn HOT!

Knoc-turn'al - Str8 West Coast
Kind of old but it's a damn hot track! I hope Knoc blows up cause I'm definitely feelin' the nigga's flow. Dre comes correct as usual.

Here are mine:

1. It aint hard to tell - Nas (Illmatic) No one will ever flow as much as Nas does in this song with that tiiiiight beat. Classic shit.

2. L.I.F.E - Cypress Hill feat. Kokane (Stoned Raiders) Very ill song by Tha Hill, a lil g-funk in it too!

3. X Bitches - Ice Cube (WP vol. 1) Tight song with Cube rapping about he´s ex girlfriends, tight beat too.

4. Get ya walk on - Xzibit (Restless LP) After seeing the video, the song was like re-born and even better, cuz the video rips it!

5. I Remember - Coolio (?????) Real smooth song about his childhood memories with a REAL tight beat with a great 70th sample. Do u think it is classic? I do...

Theese are my top 5 at the moment, some may be a little old, but its the shit i bump right now.
