He's very close to the truth, it is arguably the best beat in hip-hop history.

a VERY tight beat, one of my favs as well, but I don't think ts the best ever, but also the song that just comes along with it makes it even tighter

word that song is probably one on of the most complex beats on a loop, every time you listen to it you can almost hear another instrumentation...also every single melody in that song you can get addicted too . i'll find my self hypnotised by the drum loop then i'll be hypnotised by the bass line....shit is ill i really can't find a single beat to really compare to it complexity wise

yeah man thats true. thats Dre's magic, this happens to me alot with the Dre 2001 album. but the raps on deeeeeez nuuuuuuuuuuuuutz makse it even better. damn listen to Daz, thats him @ his best. hungry as a bulldogg

Though I think Deeez Nuuuts is EXCELLENT, in my opinion the best beat ever made (and best rap ever made) is Nuthin' but a G Thang. 8)

When lookin at info on sampling the 2 albums that always come up as a thing for people to refer to on how to "do it right" they are  The Chronic and the Beasties Boys 'Pauls Boutique'.

Deez Nutz is waaay dope.. listening to the remastered version is even more of a treat, the layers are clearer on it.. seems better separated or something.
