This shit is a comedy of errors.  Lets make a list of all Sony's fuck up's.  I'll start it.

1. First, they release the psp with the idea of making better looking hand held games than Nintendo has, dominating the market with 96% share.  Nintendo keeps their share of the market, and even slightly expands it by releasing the ds, while Sony keeps lowering sales expectations and is getting their ass handed to them by the DS with inferior graphics all over the world.

2. Sony's UMD movie format dies and gets pulled off shelves at major retailers around the world.

3.  Sony has a huge laptop battery problem where they're exploding in some people's laptops.

4. Sony announces (days after Nintendo) that their controller will have motion sensing capabilities, reveals shitty controler that they hacked a gyroscope into and lost the best part of the controller, the vibe function (which Nintendo pioneered).

5.  Sony holds Tokyo Game Show demo of the PS3, half of the units malfunction continuously due to heat issues in the show.

6.  Sony announces severely scaled back launch numbers because of troubles making the blue optics.

7.  Price tag is pretty much lauded and attacked by every single review of the system.

8.  Blue-ray is dead in the water.

9.  Sony execs hold meetings announcing delayed launches around the world.

10. Sony execs admit "average family" can't afford the ps3. 

11.  Another Sony exec says the 600 ps3 a 'good deal' and that nobody can afford an xbox360 or wii.

Sigh.  There's several, several more.

^^I think they were trying to show what an XBox 360 would cost with similar functionality to PS3, i.e. hard drive and HDDVD/Blu-Ray, but it didn't come across well.

Another cock up for Sony. I can't believe they are blundering left, right and centre. I still have faith in the PS3 though.

they also claimed onlnie gaming with the wii will cost money after 6 months which is false.

the opera browser won't be a free download after june.. BUT nintendo has promised ALL their games which do online will be free.. BUT that.. 3rd parties can do as they wish with their products.

How come you guys keep putting down sony and always point out what theyre doin wrong.. its not you whos running it or anythin why dont you just let them do what they want and not care if theyre gonna flop or not and just buy what you want? ... because Sony is taking advantage of their position at the top of the console ladder by abusing and fucking their fans over.  Overseer is particularly hot because the european market is particularly getting it broken off deep more so than even the U.S. is.  It's insulting the way they treat their fans, and it shows they have no respect for the folks (many children) who got them where they are.  600 bucks for a console system is simply outrageous behavior.  They've consistantly ripped Nintendo off for years, and have done the biggest bullshit swipe of the century.  They have contempt for their fans... they MUST, or they wouldn't consider you the idiots that they consider you.  A ps2 controller with a gyroscope glued inside of it?  that's next-gen?  It's funny that they didn't mention it until after Nintendo debuted their controller.  In their haste, they even had to cut the vibration function, a fan-favorite, out of the controller.  That's dishonest, disrespectful bullshit on their fans. 

Statements like "Europe is used to waiting for things, they don't mind" further illustrate that they take their fans for granted and need a good ass whipping.  They have absolutely 0 on the Microsoft Xbox 360 and they know it.  They are so far behind Nintendo in terms of providing a fun gaming atmosphere that they're running scared and stealing Nintendo's ideas. 

How fucking desperate does a company have to be to sabotage their own controller like they did in such a blatant attempt at cock-blocking Nintendo's brilliant next-gen strategy?  DESPERATE.  VERY DESPERATE.

lol, it was Nintendo who used to fuck the Europeans over back in the day. 18 month wait for the Super Famicom after it came out in Japan, giving the Megadrive a huge headstart. A one year wait for the N64 too.

the world was a different place back then.. we never got things like the pc engine and dreamcast was a huge wait too i knew people who imported both of those
