Splinter Cell: Double Agent
« on: October 25, 2006, 02:09:12 PM »
is fucking gorgeous, just got this a few days ago, best in the series I think, it's pretty open to what you can do in the missions, theres a bunch of ways to handle each situation, its got a different feel than the different ones, much darker. I just can't get over how good it actually looks though, anyone with a 360 needs to rent it just to look at it. The gameplay is still top-notch too, lots of new gadgets, and since you are a double-agent now it adds a new element, kind of like the "good" and "bad" choices all the games are doing now.

Hell yeah, you'll love the multiplayer, I just got into it last night. It's like hide and seek in the dark, you get the two teams spy and merc, and the spies try to hack different areas and you try to kill em, simple right? But the levels are so deep with what you can do, if you're the spy it's 3rd person, and you're all quick, running around, climbing shit, crawling in vents, theres so much shit to use for your advantage, just creepin like a thief all damn day. The soldier guys have a machine gun, grenades, and drones but thats all you need. You can even repell off railings and shit, and its first person so think condemned, you get a flashlight and have to go hunt them down, but the coolest thing in my opinion is shooting through vents and shit at spies and you can see light coming out of the bullet holes, its just little touches like that, that make the game.

I've really had fun with the other Splinter Cell games.  I haven't picked this up yet, but I will.  It'll probably be a little while though cuz I'm not buying anything new until Gears of War drops.

But this sounds dope and I'm sure it looks amazing on a 360.  I also like the fact that its more free form and open to various ways to go through missions.
