Had to skim through the album again, been a while since I've listened to it......

whats funny is, when doggfood came out i thought this albums ok, not as good as chronic or doggystyle, listening to it now its still not as good as chronic or doggystyle but light years better than most gangsta rap released in the past 5 years or so.

Shit yeah.......my pick would be.....'Riden, Slipen & Sliden'.

Let's Play House and Smooth, its hard to choose between those 2

"New York, New York" is the most remarkable track on the album. 

Death Row owned hip-hop back then and this track really put a stamp on their soveriegnty over the rest of the game.  Like Kurupt said, at that time the East Coast was "talkin all that wooptie woo about the West Coast ain't got lyrics, and we serve them right off the top, right off the top they get served."  Kurupt came hard on the track like spittin East Coast style lyrics, and Snoop was making a mockery of the East Coast in the intro saying "What up God, Yo, I got madd skills, money"... and then the video made hip-hop history where they shot it in New York, kickin down biuldings and some East Coast rappers like Noreaga affililiated cats even busted shots at their bus.

And one more thing... Snoop was even on trial at the time, and he barely earned the time off and almost didn't even make the video shoot.

So anyway, I don't think there's anyway anybody can say there was a bigger song on that album than "New York, New York", unless they weren't listenin to hip-hop in 96.
