DUBCNN Cool.........But still room for improvement!

Man, I been coming to dubcnn for a long time now, and the sites cool and all, but theres a lot of West Coast shit that your all sleeping on too....

For instance, theres Lil Sic - The West is back, Lil Flip & Mr Capone-e - Connected, Saafir - Good game the transition, Cali Agents - Fire and Ice etc etc........

I mean this shit all Bangin', but I haven't heard about one of these albums on here, and so these projects are getting slept on.....

Now my guess is that DUBCNN works by artists contacting you guess to put music out and promote they shit....Or something like this???

My suggestion is that post up on the main page once a week what's getting released on that week, so people know whats coming out....and maybe give as much detail as possible eg Lil Sic (Album produced by Fingazz, ft Roscoe, Bad Azz, Mr Capone-e etc)

That way People can find out more stuff especially the artists that haven't gone directly to dubccn and co. 'Cause theres plenty of West Cats that get slept on and how can Cali be active if West Coast cats that are putting out quality work are getting slept on?

Another suggestion, when Dubcnn interviews non-west artists (It's cool I like how dubcnn branch out further than West) try to ask them more questions relating to the West, about there opinions, if they currently working with any WC artists, Why do they like for the Left coast etc instead of doing a regular interview and most of the time has nothing to do with West.

One Last suggestion.........PUT UP THAT BAD AZZ INTERVIEW.........I KNOW YOU HAVE ONE WAITING TO BE PUT UP BUT I BEEN WAITING FOR 2 PLUS WEEKS AND SHIT STILL NOT UP.......hahaha.

The new releases get posted here in the forum all the time, once a week.

You can only interview or feature so many people at a time, you never know they might be working on something right now with those artists.

Speaking from experience, working on a website takes ALOT of work and time. I think dubcnn has been and is doing more than their fair share and is one of the best sites on the net.

We will take all the comments on board, and analyse any suggestions made. Some good comments thus far, but you have to understand it's impossible to cover everyone, some people and artists are a joke at getting their information out there, but it is something we can try to address...

I got an idea.DUBCNN should have a place on the forums where we
can post about Latin Hip Hop.This would be a big help for
the Latin Hip Hop movement...I got more ideas but thats
what popped in my head right now.

You realize that an artist only wants to talk about himself. Why would, let's say, Lil Fame of M.O.P. want to talk to anyone about the West Coast? He's not West Coast. He wants to talk about M.O.P. and Lil Fame.

non profit means they dont make money, but they are able to take in money, and pay employes.

is Game,Snoop,Dre and so on.If some one does post a Latin hip hop subject
that would get pass by quick cause of Game,Snoop,ect.If Latin hip hop had its own section then
all you would see would be Latin hip hop artists/posts.That would help out the
movement and get more Latin hip hop artist known.You know what im saying.

Ok cool.....My bad on the Saafir news....But in all due respect that was in Sept....this is Nov and I copped it last week....But this is not the point...Im talking about all the dope stuff I cop without heraing it here...

and I mean yeah I notice you post in the forum (the weekly releases amongst other things), but I've been visiting this site since like '02 and I only became a forum member like 2 weeks ago.....I was meaning just post an update once a week on the main page or what not so your 30,000 + visitors a day can see whats up! Help support this WC shit!

and SGV we'll whats the point of interviewing artists not from the West, promote they shit on this West Coast forum if they not showing the love to the West? Or at least find out their thoughts about it? I mean when you interview it won't hurt to ask will it?....Like I mean no disrespect or nothing, but one example off the top of my head.......I think it was Yash.....(Anyway) in the Young Buck interview...I was hoping that you'd ask YB if hes still cool with Daz....I know he with Spider Loc, but maybe they patched their differences and they are still cool with each other.....But no one asked that, and I thought it was somewhat appropriate to ask for a West Coast site....

Don't get me twisted, I think you guys do a great job, this is just my suggestions to help make it even better. Im sure you do your best and I understand it's time consuming......Maybe you can expand your members, Im sure there are a few guys in the forum who could help......Shit, even I will help out if thats the problem!
