I agree, the album got better the more I listened to it. There are two songs I skip("Fandango", "Get Down"(which used to be my favorite), but other than that, this album's great. Some people were saying this was his worst record, but I just don't see it. UTI was easily worse than this, IMO.
I tend to be a little bias when it comes to Quik, but this album is a classic. Production wise, lyric wise, and just overall quality is unmatched by any other artist out right now. Quik has a concept and keeps it through out the entire album (which is something he does all the time). I think the production is some of his best work. I really like how he remixed "Spur of the Moment." I listen to the entire album, but through the months I have played more songs than other, right now I play "Til Jesus Comes" the most. Cant get enought of this line "Niggaz call me dumb but I'm smarter than your momma/For lettin yo' daddy ejaculate in her and stickin her wit'cho drama/Cause you ain't nuttin but a skanky welfare case Livin in scum Bum-o-Rama/A shelf full of antibiotics and narcotics/Dwellin in a house full of lazy psychotics/Pissin and shittin on theyself and you too stupid to help/Because you just a dumb nigga yourself." lol---tell me an artist with better lyrics and flow than that. And when you add some of the tracks form the Trauma mixtape like "The Maze, and "Total Auto" you have yourself a certified banger.
