Got a Nintendo Wiiiiii!!!

Got a nintendo wii today,been playin wii sports,totally impressed by it,whole new level of gameplay the wii brings to the table,and this is only the beginning, all together i got

-Wii system
-Extra wii mote and nunchuck
-Classic controller
-2000 wii points
-Excite Truck
-Zelda

Havent played excite truck or zelda yet ,had work so ive only been playin wii for about an hour but so far i am very impressed by it,feels so different from other consoles (in a good way)

I havent connected to the internet to browse for the classic games,ill prolly do that later on tonight or tmrw,cant wait to download some OG super mario bros and zelda 

anyone else get one today?

I got one, I was number 48 lol.  The store opened at 8AM, lucky #81 arrived like at 6:00am, I really didn't expect that good thing I basically went after the night was over like around 230AM.   I haven't played Zelda yet, Im basically still trying out Wii Sports.  Bowling and Tennis are easily the best out of the 5, especially bowling.  The cool thing about golf is the putting, I can't really seem to get the hang of any other shot.  Baseball is just ok, the fun of it goes away pretty quick.  I'll be playing Zelda soon!

yea golf is definitely the most difficult to get a hold of,prolly gonna spend some time with it and try and master it, i was #35 ,got there around 130am ,the walmart i went to had 62 consoles in total. Did u get anyother games or just zelda? Im enjoying tennis the most out of the 5 right now,bowling is my 2nd. I actually think that the boxing game isnt that bad, the reviews i read the ppl said that it wasnt good and were dissapointed but i find it pretty fun

The only good moves I can do in Boxing are quick left right jabs lmao.  I didn't get any other game right now, .hopefully the local blockbuster will have Wii games pretty soon.

The reason golf is so hard is because the wii accurately mimics the games, and golf is a very complicated tedious game to learn.  Anybody can bowl; anybody can swing a baseball bat or a tennis racket.  Hardly anyone is any good at teeing off their first several times playing golf, so the wii version is going to be hard to master as well.  Anybody can play putt-putt, though, that's why you can putt no problem.

if you look in the info thread thingy.. a few wii specific sites are already made.. one with games they hope will work well with the wii mote.. they've even tried to emulate the wii menu system
