www.dubcnn.com

We're back with Part 2 of our anticipated Snoop Dogg "Blue Carpet Treatment" interview. Everything has been pretty hectic around the Dogg due to his recent arrest after his Jay Leno performance, but I didn't want to keep ya'll waiting any longer.

We promised a track by track breakdown of the new album by Snoop Dogg himself, and the first half of the breakdown is available now. The second half should be ready next week, as Dogg's schedule has been very hectic. There will also be a Part 4 coming, with regular questions from the fans over at the dubcc forum.

For now, let the Dogg tell you about his new album, with the background story to the tracks, the recording process in the studio, as well as everything else regarding the songs. Check it out below:

Snoop Dogg Interview Part 2 (The Breakdown Pt. 1)

Enjoy, and as always make sure to drop your thoughts on our interview on the forum.

Just read it - v.interesting. That Kam track must have been some controversial shit for Snoop not to wanna release it. He seems quite keen to re-iterate that bit about Dre's ghost producers.

Can't wait for part 3, I wanna know the story behind Which One Of U & Imagine.

Even though some of the shit is similar to Doggystyle, with George Clinton on the front of it, Dre as a part of the record, but realistically, if you put Doggystyle on, and put this record on, they have nothing in common!
that's for sure !

Props Nima - good read.

I just copped the new CD and it's easily Snoop's most consistent since Doggystyle. Pretty much every track is the shit, and it's been forever since I've said that about a Snoop CD. He's got that aggression back, even more so than on Top Dogg.

'Get A Light' is probably in the top 20 tracks he's put his name to in my opinion, no joke...

Looking forward to part three.

Same here. ;D

Big thanks to Nima for another great part of the interview. Can't wait for the other tracks and the user questions. Interesting that he burnt the "Murder these murderers" track, maybe it wasn't that great production wise either. Tell him that he needs some more songs like "A bitch I knew", can't stop listening to it.  8)

Good you told him that "Da bo$$ would like to see you" was the best beat on the whole record. Interesting that even Dre told him to rap over it but he decided not to.
