Cool list. I picked up:

E-40 - My Ghetto Report Card
Busta Rhymes - Big Bang
Ras Kass - Revenge Of The Spit
Rick Ross- Port Of Miami
Lloyd Banks - Rotten Apple
The Game - Doctor's Advocate
Jay-Z - Kingdome Come
Snoop Dogg - The Blue Carpet Treatment
Nas - Hip Hop Is Dead

The year got better towards the end, I thought. Not all of the big albums lived up to the hype (Jay's was nowhere close), but it was a cool fourth quarter - seemed like there was a big release to look forward to every week or so.

I probably spent more time listening to 'new' records this year than for a few years now, so I guess hat's a good thing. But I don't know if that means the music is getting better again or I'm just getting used to today's styles, LOL.

Overall, I liked it. I know people knocked D4L and Franchise Boys and whatnot, but I can't comment because I literally never heard a thing by those acts. The records I took an interest in and dropped the notes for were generally pretty cool.

overall i´m pretty pleased with this year and for the first time in a while there were releases from all over that were jammin'. i just wish that Trae and Ro would´ve settled their differences before Ro got locked up and hit us with an official ABN album. the south did their thing this year and allthough there are a lot of weak acts coming from down there you can´t deny that they got a hell of a lot of artists putting out quality music aswell. and NY should stop complaining like a gang of bitches that´s had too much cum to swallow and just copy these southern cats' grind and go out there and get their own shit popping instead of waiting on these fuck boy labels to do everything for them.
