NFC Playoff Scenarios? My Head hurts...
« on: December 30, 2006, 12:51:43 PM »
My Green Bay Packers can clinch a playoff birth 5 different ways.

Giants have about 4 ways to get in..plus 2 extra ways with a strength of victory thingy.

But basically Giants have the best way of getting the last spot by just winning tonight...and that eliminates every team EXCEPT for Green Bay...which could clinch if they win...and Arizona, Detriot, Miami, Minnesota and San Fran win...PLUS Carolina, Houston and Tampa Bay LOSE...that gives us the better strength of Victory

Doesn't really matter. whatever team wins the wildcard will be sent home the first game.

I hate to break it to you my friend, but the Packers are not going to beat the Bears tomorrow. There is no way Lovie lets them lose at home to Green Bay. I'm a Bears fan, and if I'm wrong I'll be back here to eat my crow.

Bears have already clinched homefield. Green Bay could win if Chicago puts their bench on the field. But the Pack's chances are now very slim.

Last week the Bears had there 4th string in on defense. So i could see the Bears packing it in, in the 2nd half. I could Def see the Packers winning. But i dont see all those other things falling into place, but its been such a crazy year who knows!
And IMO the Giants are going out quick, they make too many mistakes, and are just an avg football team that has talent..

Minnesota lost already, and Carolina and Houston both won. Does this mean Greenbay is officially done?

just like i said the Bears Lost

Im impressed the Packers went 8-8, they are the youngest team in the NFL, and have not alot of talent. Brett Favre's crying after the game made me think hes retring... :-\
