Snoop’s Death Row “Doggumentary” EP
« on: January 20, 2007, 05:56:08 PM »

I used to have all the info on this including a track list but over the years I lost it. I remember it was suppose to be an eight song EP with four remix’s and four new songs. I remember the remix’s were:

Snoop’s upside ya head (Soopafly remix)
Tha Doggfather (Timberland remix)
Snoop Bounce (rock n’ roll remix)
Vapors (Battlecat remix)

And as far as the “new” songs I know Midnight luv was one and C-walkin was another but what were the other two? I want to say the track “last meal” (off the smokefest album) and “my favorite color” but I’m not 100%. Does anyone know for sure?

I'm pretty sure "Head Doctor" probably would have been one of the tracks on "Tha Doggumentary EP" since they had a mini-movie filmed for it

Head Doctor and Street Life were not on it that I'm sure of. DJR after seeing what you posted I remembered one was gangsta walk. So I'm about 99% positive the track list was.

unreleased songs
-C-Walkin
-Gangsta Walk
-Midnite Love
-Once Again or My favorite color

remix's
-Vapors (Battlecat Remix)
-Snoop Bounce (Rock N Roll Mix)
-Doggfather (Timbaland Remix)
-Snoop's Upside Ya Head (Soopafly Remix)

This would've been cool to have in the collection for the novelty, but it isn't really that great a collection of songs, if these tracklists are pretty close to being right.  The worst one I keep seeing listed is "The Doggfather" (Timbaland Remix).  I can't for the life of me understand why Deathrow put this on the Death Row Snoop's greatest hits.  It's horrible, boring, repetitive.  Even if "Streetlife" wasn't supposed to be on "The Doggumentary" ep, it would've been a much better addition than that.

but NODOBY got this VAPORS remix?

It's never been released. Snoop preformed the Battlecat version live on SNL and it was released on the vapors (or doggfather) single as "Vapors (live version)" and that's the Battlecat remix but it has never been released or leaked in the non-live version.

I agree, aside from hearing the Battlecat remix of vapors this release would have been pretty pointless. I'm not sure what came first here though as far as the time line went. I don't know if the Doggfather singles were released with most of these songs and then Snoop decided he wanted to compile them in the form of an EP (ex Doggumentary EP) or if these songs were recorded for the EP and then Suge decided it was pointless and just added them to various Doggfather album singles. It still is incredible that considering all the songs Snoop had in the vaults that this Doggumentary album was going to consist of such mediocre material (with the exception of midnight luv).
