Just get him these albums:

Soul On Ice,
 - "Etc", "If/Then", "Nature Of The Threat", whole CD

Death Certificate
 - "Us", "A Bird In The Hand", "True To The Game", whole CD man

AND:

The D.O.C is Texan, period.
So just because he has a CD with Dr. Dre, he's westcoast? Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana have a duo-CD coming out, I guess they'll be switched up regionally too. Dre's production sound now isnt what you'd expect from a stereotypical westcoast producer though. Opposingly, D.O.C isnt the stereotypical southern rapper either, but bare with me. The guy is still relevent here in his home city, still involved with our( Dallas') rap scene and everything. (Yes we have a "rapscene". My dad produced for a funk-inspired dallas group on Profile Records in the 90's. THEY ALMOST went on a tour with DJ Quik, but Profile was bought out by Arista near that time.) Guy's done more for Dallas than he has ever done for the Westcoast period, he's texan alright. He's the first rap artist from this city to blow, first Southern based rapper to work with Dre, (Prior to Devin) and one of the FIRST to actually get a critically acclaimed 5 star album. They werent even giving southern artists those type of ratings. (Outkast of all groups, couldnt even get a 5 star from anyone and musically Outkast is fucking with anybody.) His debut had a trail of funk production (Dr.Dre) and generalized eastcoast lyricism and flow, -- the album was disguised and thats why a lot of people cant or dont credit D.O.C as southern. Even though, thats how we communicate in hiphop, influence of predecessors regardless of the region! Majority of the guys proteges are actually from Dallas as opposed to California. Pretty Black, Six-Two, etc. Go ahead and bring up Lil Eazy, and I will bring up more Dallas Locals. DOC's even had a baby with Eryka Badu. (Who, in case you didnt know - Is a Dallas superstar). Dont get me wrong though, HE IS Dre's righthand man. Thats quoted straight out his mouth. But theres a reason why he has that "segregated father from the mother and rest of the family" relationship to Dallas' rapscene. Because fucking with Dre period, is a podeium in the industry. Regardless if you are behind the scenes (Doc) or blatant (Scott Storch). No one Willingly leaves a highpoint like that to go back and re-establish themselves as solo solo artists (ala Game still TALKS about Dre, and Scott is STILL with DRE) with new resources when they already have ample enough resources. Thanks for your time.

If he didn't like balance, he won't like frontline. Stick with older Planet Asia. Some Self Scientific. Dilated. Murs. Zion I. Blackalicious. Lyrics Born. Psycho Realm.

If that doesn't do it, he won't like west coast shit.

I work with this guy who hates west coast rap and I'm looking for some tracks that might change his mind that the west coast is more than pimpin' bitches and killing people. He's 30 years old and big into Fu Schnickens, old school Wu-Tang, pretty much everything from the late 80s and early 90s east coast era. The only west coast rappers he knows/likes are Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, 2pac, and the ones from the Menace II Society soundtrack, which is the only west coast CD he has. PLEASE NO DOGG POUND! I've already tried. lol

So far I have:

Planet Asia - Everyday Ritual
Masta Ace - Da Grind
Sly Boogy - Ridiculous
Frontline - Black Jack (the ones signed to E-A-Ski's label, not the ones from LA)
Ras Kass - It Is What It Is
Ras Kass - The End
Crooked I - Leave Us Alone
Celly Cel - It's Goin' Down Tonight
3X Krazy - Keep It On The Real
D.O.C. - The Formula
Put that dude on some Murs buddy...I know a bunch of dudes from the Eastcoast that was feeling Murs when I put them on this fool...good luck tho'...i've met haters like that and they aint havin the change...peace!!
