Death Row's 'Snoop Doggy Dogg' Greatest Hits Out
« on: October 22, 2001, 03:36:54 AM »
I just picked it up here in the UK.

The CD has Death Row AND Doggystyle Records Logos on it!
(exec produced by Suge)
The cover isn't really a diss like some people were assuming, it just shows snoop in some stacy adams reclining in front of a row of 4 caged beeeeyatches.
The booklet has a selection of Doggystyle era snoop photos all from the same shoot.

(oh and i also picked up the new Marley Marl "re-entry")

ohh i forgot to say.. (although its been confirmed many times) the tracklisting is 100% the same as the one for the 'Snoop Doggy Dogg At His Best' album that morphed into DMW.

Do the tracks that had interludes and voice overs at the start on the original albums still have them or are they separate (single versions)???  Examples would be the dudes talking at the start of "Gin & Juice" and "Ain't No Fun".  Please holla back!

I copped the album, and half of me is satisified, but the other half kinda has some regrets. Its good to have some of these classic songs on one cd, and Midnight Love is THE SHIT, but some of the remixes and unreleased songs didnt interest me......

no, www.deathrowrecords.com is owned by someone they don't like. But their tries to get it all failed. Tha row claims it's priority's fault it came on the back of snoop greatest hits.

Hey, did anyone read my question?  Let me know if the skits are still in there or if the songs are single versions.   Thanks.
