« on: March 08, 2007, 06:36:45 PM »
are these guys the same person? did K-Dee just eventually change his name to K-Mac? pardon my igorance on the topic. if you don't know who i'm talking about the name K-Dee can be found on westside connection's 1st lp on 2 tracks, and k-mac can be found on cube's war & peace disc vol.1, and on 2 songs on westside connection's 2nd lp.

I think K-Mac is from the Comrads.  I've never heard of K-Dee going by anything else.

whatever happened to K-Dee??

Ass, Gas or Cash was a classic
Always talkin bout the cash he got, the little pesos for shows
And God knows his materialistic raps and wack flows
are like Stay Free pads, fake V.I.P. rappers get garbage disposed
Unrecouped for his flamboyance and reflection
He's leasin rentin and frontin

I think "The Hood" is a general umbrella of Mack 10 affiliates, remember that album Mack 10 Presents The Hood?  So its probably the same K-Mac from The Comrads.

true. but that group compo album had a shit load of ppl. "the hood" listed in the terrorst threats album only had 3 members (unless it was only 3 of various members appearing on the song)

Tha Hood was Skoop, K-Mac, Technic and Mack 10. It was a actual group. Which reminds me that album was BANGIN!

the cover of that album had 6 ppl. the song "the hood" was feat. on westside connection's "bangin at the party" had the hood listed as k-mac, young soprano, skoop delena. but like i said, its possible these 3 could be apart of the 6 that appear on that mack 10 compo album, i don't know what they look like. hook the album up homie :)

You are right. Damn I forgot all about that. The other 2 members are cousteau & deviossi. And yeah K-Mac and Gangsta are the Comrads. I don't think they are together anymore though. K-Dee put out that classic album Ass Gas Or Cash. He never was in a group. Last project I saw him on was a Devin The Dude album, I think it was the first one. Rap A Lot wanted to sign him but didn't and Cube never dropped anything on him since that album. Good post. +1 homie.
