Well first, I agree that these dudes are gonna say theyre gonna be successful.  They're not gonna say they're gonna flop.  So I don't understand why that question gets asked.  You're just gonna get the same tired rehashed answer.  If we must talk business instead music, Instead of asking if they're gonna go plat, lets ask them how many points they get per album.  So if they do sell $1MM, how much do they net?  I think we need to start bringing that shit to light.  Lets get into specifics of their contracts.  I bet you the majority of these rappers don't know the details of their shit, they just hear "platinum" and think it's good for them.  These guys always HYPE themselves on how much of a business man they, lets see them back it up.

Ask him his reasoning for signing a 6 album deal in this day and age.  Has he not seen the declining sales trends for major labels for the past several years?  Did they give him $1MM bucks for that deal?  How much of that does he have to recoup?  Lets test these motherfuckers.

I've always been into music from an early age. I've always been into the beats before lyrics, so I actually started out as a producer and ended up fallin in love with rap while doin it. I just had so much style and sag on the mic that people couldn't help but gravitate toward my music. I've influenced a lot of people musically that I've come in contact with. And its just because of my style and my confidence in being myself as an artist.
