I dont have the new source, but did Ras Kass get 3 mics???

that's terrible in my mind... we were expecting a lot from this cat... if the source gave it a three then it must really be bad... im not saying believe the source, but damn 3 mics is like .... well... i heard more people like teecee tear on this album... i might need to listen to this before i purchase...

Yea i knew the source hating would start... but if he got 3.5 thats better in my mind... if it was 3.0 mic then I would wonder... i dont think the source would even give a good album a 3 for no reason.

GUys, i am a huge Ras fan, i have had the album for about two months, i have listened to it extensively, it really is only a 3.5 mic album, the Source actually didn't fukk up for once.  I love Ras, i think his first album is incredible, 5 mics, and he gotta come with that shit again.  It's like how we all waitin for Snoop to return to the essence, well, true blue Ras fans down from day one waiting for his return too.  PEACE

Im not saying you should live and die by the Source's ratings, but in all fairness they are a Hip-Hop magazine and I feel that their mic system is a nice guideline to use.   If an album gets 4 mics in there, Im willing to check it out.  If an album gets 3 mics there a good chance its just mediocre at best.  Of course, we're  not going to all agree with what the source says because the reviews are written by 1 person , but to say "Fuck the Source" because they gave your favorite artists 3 mics--thats retarded.
