Why Don't LA DJ'S GET THE SAME RESPECT AS NY OR SOUTH DJ'S?

No disrespect! Why aren't LA DJ'S getting the same love, respect, & recognition as NY & DOWN SOUTH DJ'S? I don't know! Do you? Here is what I do know: NY & DOWN SOUTH DJ'S BREAK RECORDS VIA RADIO, STRIP CLUB, AND MIXTAPES. They are not afraid to get behind new artist. I bet yall could name more NY & SOUTH DJ'S then you could westcoast ones. These DJ'S got their hustle down. They understand networking, forming strategic relationships and partnership. They understand marketing and how to build a brand, buzz, and cult like following. I mean where is my home town at? Where are not being represented period! Shout out to JULIO G, DJ MELLO D, SWAY, SKEE, RAMPAGE, HAPA, CALI UNTOUCHABLES AND EVERY REAL DJ THAT'S POPPIN' ON THA COAST WITH THE MOST!

I think Cali DJ's in general are very underrated when it comes to their contributions in hiphop history. Some of the best producers in the rap game are from the west and most of them at some point in time were or still are DJ's. I think NY/South DJ's have more power and influence to make or break artist because they really have control of their outlets Radio/Mixtape Scene & their demographic is in a pretty centralized are ie: NY/NJ or HTOWN/ATL/MIA. On the west shit is so spread out and theirs so many other influences from corporations etc its hard for them to really have a say so. Its said but it seems like if you arent affiliated with Dre/Snoop/Quik or some other legend record labels and alot of radio stations wont really fuck with you... thats not because of the DJ's though thats bullshit corporate programmers etc.

Even the Westcoast Greats like the beatjunkies though wont rock anything new that isnt affiliated with them in at least 2 degrees of seperation....They're slippin too, We Need a New Scene and new crews to rise up.

I just want to see our dj's get the respect and money that they deserve. But, it seems like some just don't have the hustling skills. Name someone on the west besides Julio G, Skee who isn't affiliated with a label. I mean felli fel is heavy hitters but, I don't see him really pushing it to a level like dj drama and the aphilliates/grand hustle/ gangsta grillz brand. That's a movement right their. Dj clue desert Storm/ rocafella/ def jam the first mixtape dj to have a platinum mixtape record. But I guess you can only get that if you got a real hustle or you really have an ear to the streets. I mean these new rappers are popping, but they anit getting no love. i.e. JAG, BADLUCC, JAY-ROCK  TO NAME A FEW. THANK GOD FOR THIS WEBSITE!
