I dunno know man. Quik is my favorite artist of all time, but it seem like they're riding the souths dick.
I understand that Quik had trouble paying his rent and feeding his kids after commercially flopped Trauma and now he trying to reach the mainstream audience. Lets take a closer look at this rumored quest list.-Rick Ross, Joc and Jimmy are not really mainstream artist because they do only 100Ks and they are just BET super stars. Quik must at least sell a million and get some time on MTV (no MTV2 or MTVU or other bullshit channels) to become mainstream artist, 100Ks aren't helping him.-I have never heard about T.Marie so I leave the bitch alone. Probably not mainstream because I have not heard about her ( I watch TRL some times).-The Game is mainstream enough to be approved to appear on Quik's mainstream take over album, but they must hurry because Game's mainstream halo is becoming tarnished. -BNDH, what the fuck and why? They definitely NOT mainstream. They are just nobodies who just barely touched gold two years ago. I have not heard about them since, so I think Diddy sent them back to ghetto to sell crack.-Jay Rock became known to me in yesterday, when he dropped his opinion about Daz & Dollar relationsship on youtube, like he is a really big factor in rap game. I appreciate Quik's ear to new talents but It's quite risky to take him on the up coming mainstream album, so I vote for dropping his ass off this one.Rumored list did not look good enough for a mainstream album. I wonder that why he isn't getting real mainstream artist like Jay-Z (Quik did a beat for him on Jay's Black Album, remember? It's a payback time now, bitch.), Mariah Carey, Eminem, Fiddy, Justin Tinkerbell, Pussy Catdildos, Timbo and other bitches who are hot right now. They would boost his sales since Quik's music isn't appreciated enough, which is a god damn shame.
At least BNDH can actually spit when compared to the likes of Joc, Ross, etc.
QuoteAt least BNDH can actually spit when compared to the likes of Joc, Ross, etc.Sure, but how skilled rapper you are, doesn't really matter nowadays. You can be horrible rapper and still manage to sell lots of records, only beats matter now. Good example of that is Rick Ross and his Port Of Miami.
