Dubcnn introduced you to Convinced last week, a bright new talent on the West Coast. The introduction included 3 tracks which are featured on his new album "I Do It For The People". As we promised, the album will be available this week for free download. Yes that's right, free download. Instead of selling it in and ease the process for future projects, Convinced decided to make the album available for free. What better way to go for a new artist to showcase his skills and earn a buzz by giving his music away. As the album title implies, he's doing it for the people so that's the route Con choosed to go.

"I Do It For The People" is not a mixtape either. The album has original production on all 13 tracks, and it comes with front and back cover. No big label behind it, no big artists featured on it, just some good music for you to bump. Give this project a chance, as it's definitely worth your bandwith.

After first listen my favorite 2 songs are still "My Surroundings" & "Hero's and Villans".  That "Passion" track is pretty dope too.  I love the production on it.. really different.

I really like the beat on the intro.. too bad he didn't turn that into a full track.

Wasn't really feeling the 2nd track "Get The Dough" on first listen.. but on second listen it might grow on me.

I really like the 3rd track "I Ask Myself" good deep track with some nice production.

Don't really care for the 4th track "Rap Ammo".. not sure why though.. I guess it's the whole flow of the track... or production.. not sure yet.

Of course I've already said my favorite track is "My Surroundings"  Certified Classic track here!!!

The 6th track "The Bizness" is a nice track.. I like the beat.. would love to hear this one on a system.

That "Passion" track has some funky production.  I'm really liking this track with it's beats and his storytelling and that chick moaning LOL

"Get Ya Shit Right" is another track that I don't like and not exactly sure why...  I really didn't like when the beat starting sounding like down south shit and then he says "Ballin.." I hate that shit LOL

"I Do it for The People" Nice track here.. not sure what to say on this one yet but it's nice.

"Fed Up" Nice production and I love the topic he speaks on.. the rap industry and rappers putting out crap records etc..

"Golden Era"  Another nice track with Convinced talking about when rap was good back in the "Golden Era"  This would be the "Game" type track name calling all the classic rappers and albums from the past.

"Hero's and villains"  I really like this track.. I think it's mainly because of the production and the chorus but Convinced comes real nice on this track.  His storytelling and lyrics are dope.

"You Already Know"  Nice track.. nice club type beat.. Convinced comes nice.

Overall I would say this is a really good CD for being free.  I'd probably give it a 7/10.
