New nas album
« on: September 14, 2001, 12:06:42 PM »
I just read a review for the new nas album at soundcircuit.com, sounds tight, he's got production from the alchemist, pete rock, primo and a few others. It's already being bootlegged in the new york/new jersey area, which may suggest nas will change up the album like he did for "i am", which isn't a good thing, as we all know how muched i am sucked. check the review for yourself. check this verse on a track called "my level"

I sip the blood of Christ from a gold cup
I love this life, my soldiers smoke you no price
Dead men in graves fall over, I'm part a-pach-e
slave master, african who asked me
Dance, tear my clothes, bitches try to trap me
40,000 seats, rise to they feet to hear me flow
Got 2 mansions on the east coast, models deep throat
I heard about them kidnap dudes, I did it with some
Shake hands with killers just to see who really was one
Study his moves, how he look fake, but thats the trick to it
Now he turn you to bait, the streets said I stick to it
Rappers hate me, bitches saying how did he start
They go to Sitey(?) Jackson(?) for my astrology chart
I'm the righteous thug, fight for Mumia, racist white judge
Made Diallo's murderers free, see they dont like us
And what about the conspiracies to kill black boys
What y'all aint hearing me? words from the planets like astroids
Look around and everything you see was once an idea
First somebody thoughts turned into reality, clear
Look at the taller skyscrapers interested in the pear
Somebody thought it up, built it up and put it right there.

sorry yall that bootleg is supposedly a FAKE!

i got this from someone from another site who always has correct information...

"I spoke to L.E.S and everything regarding Stillmatic is on the low..But he did tell me..Dre and Havoc have so far given nas exclusive beats to choose from and Trackmasters have something sick to give Nas,(one beat though)...also he wouldn't give me everything but he said Nas reply to the Takeover is crazy as hell."

Dre is producing! DAMN! THIS WILL BE DOPE!

As much as I love dre's music. But I don't think they fit well together. But dre could probably pull off something great I just want to hear premier, pete rock, large professor, the alchemist, havoc, and maybe l.e.s..

I'm ready 4 some new Nas shit, this is one of the albums i'm most lookin' forward 2. I thought Nas ripped it up over the "Nas Is Coming" beat Dre produced.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

i spoke to someone online who works for the industry and he said he's heard 2 things ( 2 bootlegs?) one which was hot as hell, the other not being so good.. all of this could be rumors, but i have a good feeling about this nas joint.

I believe you, phone tap was hot as shit. (I think stuck my foot in my mouth on this argument)

I'm happy as long as there are too many trackmasters beats.
