I'll be down for giving the award to Nash, as a result the NBA would be looked even more as a bunch of idiots ( these so-called Xperts who vote for the award) to give three MVP in a row to a player who's gonna retire with 0 ring...
"I don’t think you can go wrong with either one of them."
^No, because Nash is not close to being the best player in the league...He's the player who runs a simple offense to perfection, not an MVP. Journalists can't really seem to tell the difference nowadays.

Nash runs his team very well, he is one of, if not the best in the game right now, case closed.

Don't tell me Stoudemire, did you watch the game today? Put it this way......where would the Suns be without Nash? They did pretty damn well without Stoudemire last year. Stoudemire IS awesome, but he isn't Nash.Magic, Jordan, Bird, Russell, many players in the NBA currently say Nash is the best, so why do you think your opinion is more valid than eveyone elses??? Nash isn't superior athletically like Kobe or Lebron, but he still manages to do great things. And really, as for Wcsoldier, why does it matter if Nash never wins a title? Winning a title isn't easy (ask Malone, Barkley, Stockton), and if Nash doesn't win one that can't take away from his regular season accomplishments. Besides, look at what Nash has done in the playoffs the last 3 years, he's top3-4 players in the last 3 years, from averaging almost 40 in the series against Dallas 3 years ago to what he is doing this year again, he has been nothing short of great in the playoffs and has shown he is a clutch player regardless if he wins a title or not.And if the Suns offense is so fucking easy, why don't the Lakers run the offense but with Kobe in Nash's place? Surely they would be as good as the Suns, right?! The logic used by some of you is ridiculous and obviously an attempt to somehow downplay the fact that Nash has two MVP's when Kobe has none, and the Lakers have lost two straight years to a team that somehow sucks......Really NIK, who is more valuable to the SUns than Nash? How about in the league? I'm not saying the best player, but the most valuable player to their team...........lets see this list. And if Nash isn't close to being the best player in the league, why don't you make a list of at least 10-15 players better than him right now..........

Kwame would be top 5 in the league had Michael Jordan not shattered his confidence his rookie year, Everybody on the current Laker team is better than Shaq, and teams that are in the playoffs aren't playoff teams. If the Lakers played as good the entire season as they did in 3 quarters against the Suns in game 1, no team in NBA could touch them. And if you point out all of these contradictions you obviously don't know shit about basketball or are retarded.

He's the only point guard on the team who can run that offense! LOL. Barbosa is a scorer and Marcus Banks is lost...Nash means everything to that team, but it doesn't mean he's the best player. Amare and Marion are both better individual players than Nash. You say "why dont the Lakers run the Suns offense if it's so easy!?"...Because it's a jumpshooters offense and it will never win a title. And we don't even have enough jumpshooters/offensive firepower to run it to begin with...LOL@"why does it matter if Nash wins a title?". If he can't lead his team to anything past regular season succes, I guess he's not THAT valuable now, is he? Especially not "3-time consecutive MVP valuable". And nobody from your list said Nash is pound for pound the best player in the game...That's almost funnier than Steve Nash playing "phenominal defense"...LMAOYou cannot replace Kobe on the Lakers, no other player would be able to lead them to the playoffs. You cannot replace Duncan on the Spurs, no other player would make the Spurs sucha threat. But you CAN replace Nash in the Suns' system with a high-powered point guard...A Jason Kidd, a Baron Davis, a Tony Parker...Those all have something in common. They're all players on Nash's level and they're also all NOT MVP caliber players...PeACe
Keep hatin kid, he's better than Kobe overall and he did play great defense in game 1.
Dude is a soldier, and not many players would be trying to get into the game with a busted nose either. Kidd, Davis and Parker would not be able to run that "Phoenix" offense because it's Nash's offense. Kidd & Davis are both MVP caliber players as well. Just because they don't take every shot doesn't mean they aren't MVP worthy. And damn lol at Marion and Amare being individually better than Nash...nothing really to say about that except that you must be speaking out of either ignorance or bias.
