I gotta say DeathRow, although not by far. If Above The Law was on DeathRow, that would of been something!

If you want to include obscure signees of Ruthless like Pistol, you'd have to include obscure signees of Death Row as well:

B-Rezell
CPO
LBC Crew
Ruben
Emmage
OFTB
and so on

I think Death Row takes the cake easily.

i just posted 13 for both....each label had so many more people

If there was never a Ruthless Records then never a Death Row Records. Period.

Ruthless gets my vote : Classic albums from Eazy, D.O.C, Above The Law, MC Ren, Bone Thugs and Harmony and muthafuckin N.W.A

fuck the roster, what did the labels put out?

straight outta compton vs the chronic

no one can do it better vs doggystyle

livin like hustlers vs dogg food

niggaz4life vs regulate...g funk era

etc. this
would be the way to conduct this comparison...

PLEASE don't go into semantics with me about why regulate don't count blah blah

Death Row did not release Regulate... G Funk Era. That was put out by Def Jam. Unless you put it there because Warren G was an associate of DR, but still, i wouldn't really count it .

actually, ATL was signed on to DR at one point, i think in the late 90's or something like that. Back when Big Hutch was signed on as the lead producer for death row. i think they have an unreleased EP from the DR days, maybe... would be interesting to hear.

i'm saying alot of labels had dope talent but what did they actually put out? cause for example, dre has alot of great talent on AM but it wouldn't be fair to judge AM against another label roster to roster to assess whose better cause their output is so much less impressive than the roster. the label would lose to aftermath in such a comparison even if that label drops more heat than AM.

anyway, i think it's even
