i noticed in the album credits that a producer named Laylaw did some tracks. Same Laylaw that used to be in Above The Law?

I lost my interest in it. I saw it in iTunes just yet and decided to skip it, to me it doesn't have much replay value. I loved the album when it came out though, but i don't feel the need to listen to it again.

It's still not a bad album though, 3/5.

That pretty much sums up how I feel too.

now that i think about it 95% of albums from recent years impress me at first but i never feel the need to listen to them ever again. i wonder why that is.

A few pretty subpar lines/songs but minus that a good solid album

The album is solid but should have been cut in length.  "Go to Church", "You Gotta Lot of That", "Holla @ Cha Boy", "The Game Lord" all are unnecessary to me.  Leave those out and the album becomes much better.  Coincidentally, those all had the worst beats as well.  More social commentary is needed from Cube and that is apparently the route he is going in for his next 3 records so hopefully he won't completely tarnish his catalogue and, therefore, legacy.

If Cube and Dub were smart, they would collaborate on a whole record under a new group name entirely produced by Crazy Toones.  That would be some shit.

that would be perfect :o. i like mack 10 but he sounds pretty weak next to cube and wc. i thought i heard cube say they might make a new westside album without mack 10.

It's funny, I just randomly listened to this album today, without even thinkin about the date........damn subliminal advertising.

Still a tight album, not a classic though, a solid 3.5/5, the tracks the cube drops knowledge on like nigga trap, child support, laugh now cry later and the others are amazing.  Still though, at 20 tracks in your bound to have some filler.
