Cant understand it.  I mean if you have country grammar you will realize it is a good album and he is really an ok rapper. He has a good voice not a crappy annoying 1. He is listenable and he can flow good.  Maybe his rhymes are a little lame and he does use noises instead of words to often but I mean give him a break he has only released 1 album maybe it will change when he released his second album.  I mean come on he aint that bad. Ride with me good song, batter up good song, E.I was a fuckin boss beat.  He is good and I wish everyone would stop hating on him.  He brings a new level to the rap game exactly like eminem and D-12 do.  Put it this was if Dre prouduced a song for Nelly you would all start loving him.  So stop the hatin.

The first time I saw Nelly's video "Country Grammar" I said "HAHAHAHA!!! Who the fuck is this. He will never blow up cause he straight up sucks." Now remember thats when I first saw it before he got all this promotion from BET and MTV, before anyone knew his name.

I was shocked to see him blow up the way he did. I didn't know someone so wack could get that big. I'm not the type to ride the bandwagon so I ain't gonna go buy his album just cause he is hip and I ain't gonna dislike him cause everyone on this board does. I made the decision on my own. Call it hatin' if you want but I just don't like his music and don't want anything to do with it.

Ride Wit Me was aiight but thats one song outta all the others.

Nelly is lyrically wack or very very average at best... but he's "listenable" (sometimes). I actually liked "Country Grammar" and 'E.I", coz I found the videos funny but there's no way I can BUY his shit. Now, solo, I could stand him for just another year or so, but I CANNOT stand his crew. I do understand his appeal though (therefore his sales): not everyone likes the rugged rap shit like me, so it's all good.
PS: Still, the fact that he won Best Album is so fuckep up, it's gonna legitimate his constant hating... Coz he didn't deserve that award for shit...
