THANK U!!!! U definitely got the point... And yeah, Black Rob album was bangin'; he's a great storyteller... Maybe he shouldn't have gotten 4.5 mics in The Source but he couldn't get less than 4. Same for Beanie Sigel's The Truth. Lyrically, it's a MASTERPIECE. And the whole second half is classic in my opinion. Some of the 1st half beats were wack but there's no way it can be on that all time WORST list...

Doggfather was tight...To me Last Meal was one of the most dissapointing albums ever...Maybe not the wackest but all the hype that Snoop got his flow back and he was back to Doggystyle made me really look forward to this album...And then he drops a halfassed album with halfass flows...

OK then: I'll tell u when Snoop's flow really changed (for me anyway): it changed on "2 Of Amerikka's Most Wanted" off "All Eyez On Me". THAT's when I started gettin' real worried for Snoop. Eventually, Doggfather dropped and his flow was just lost. The 93-94 energy, the charisma, the delivery, it was all gone!!!!! Maybe coz of the trial and the Death Row situation but it was gone. STILL, the WORST part of the album was with production, which was the exact opposite of Doggystyle's creative outburst in LESS time!!!!! Now, DAZ did a very decent job, honestly. But DJ POOH should never be checked again, just for that record, especially after droppin' classic shit with Cube years earlier. His work on songs like "Snoop Bounce", "2001", "Up Jump Tha Boogie" and the wack ass track "Doggyland" was more than terrible, almost unbelievable. "Wake Up" was a wack ass Snoop attempt to produce. "Freestyle Conversation", just like the entire record, was terribly mixed: u can't even hear Snoop's lyrics on it. Plus, it was just Snoop TALKING anyway... "Vapors" ain't nothin' special and i ain't too crazy about remakes for the most part... "Snoop's Upside Ya head", after all the BET and MTV promo, was still a very average track and an interpolation anyway (we were all used to Snoop droppin' ORIGINAL shit with DRE; sampled but ORIGINAL). And I'm not even talkin' about the skits on the album... NOW, "Doggfather" itself was a decent joint (for the 1st week anyway), but I mostly bumped "Gold Rush", "You Thought", "Groupie", "Sixx Minutes" and "Downtown Assassins" (the best joint on it). So overall, it was a MAJOR disappointment for me. Plus, my Doggfather CD looks all neat coz I played those 5 songs I kinda liked for only 1 month or so. CONCLUSION: 6 outta 21 for me = WACK. Say what you say but that's my opinion and a whole gang of critics' too. Snoop PROVED a 1,000,000 times that he can do 100,000 times BETTER than 1,000 Doggfathers so there you have my fuckin' point...

Snoop will always be one of my favorite MCs but that's for Chronic and Doggystyle mostly. What you say is pretty close to the actual truth; catz just don't wanna admit it on this forum...
