I'm a fan of both these cats music, but it surprised me to hear Sai say this:

Saigon: Well, the difference between me and Ras Kass is I make great music.  And there’s a beautiful thing now called the Internet.  You can’t stop the Internet.  You can’t stop email blasts with a new Saigon record.  That’s the thing that they don’t understand, you can’t really stop a true talent.  And I consider myself, and everybody around me knows that I’m a true talent.  I’m not a fuckin’ gimmick.  I’m not a nigga who got a lucky hook off or a jingle.  This is genuine shit.

Both Ras Kass and Saigon will never taste mainstream success. That doesn't mean they're bad artists, they just aren't marketable in that field.
It'd be nice to see them freestyle battle on The Wake Up Show, because if I was Ras Kass I'd be really offended by Saigon's comments.

Saigon's one of my favorite MC's at the moment but he does talk like an idiot quite a bit. He takes shots at half the industry. He also wrote an essay about why Game never gangbanged then put him on the Pain In My Life remix saying when he met him he got a good vibe so....

Rassassination was Ras's only good album. I'm not very impressed with most of Saigon's work either, but at least Sai is still young and has potential. Ras is too busy going in and out of jail for DUIs. Even Scipio got tired of fuckin' with him.
