#1 - Based On A True Story - 5/5 (CLASSIC) - Yea I said that shit...this album is a striaght classic imo...every song bumps..some highlights are backyard boogie, the guppies, dopeman, and only in california..no wack tracks, hell not even any avg tracks#2 - Mack 10 - 4.75/5 (NEAR-CLASSIC) - only 2 songs that are avg imo and those are here comes the g & 10 million ways...otherwise it would be another classic1 #3 - Hustla's Handbook - 4.25/5 - This album surprised the fuck outta me...didn't think mack could come so dope without cube & wc, but he sure as hell did it...some wack tracks nonetheless like i'm a star, keep it hood, livin just to ball, with a few more boring avg tracks (da bizness, cognac & doja)...like this bangs, testimony is a classic, step yo game up is real nice as wellNot a big difference for me when it comes the posistioning of 4-6...#4 - Bang Or Ball - 3.75/5 - Album grew on me as time went on...Mannie Fresh did a nice job behind the boards on this one as he did nearly every track...mack did a nice job not leavin his westcoast roots with amazing tracks like connected for life, hate in yo eyes, no dick at all, let it be known etc...1 knock on it, is the last 3 tracks are REALLY BAD (especially murder)...to this day connected for life is my fav wscg track#5 - The Recipe - 3.5/5 - Was a nice album, cool to see mack gettin down with damn near everybody, but it was a bit much..we got 1 solo mack track on here, and it was easily 1 of the best (the letter) on the entire album (leaving you wanting more mack on his own)...some tracks just didn't fit mack's style (you ain't seen nothin, made ni99az, for the money) but let the games begin was dope...money's just a touch away is the greatest mack song ever imo#6 - Tha Paper Route - 3.25/5 - This album has also grown on me a whole lot...A little short though, with a few fillers...from tha streetz is sooo dope, and nobody is a nice wscg cut i under-appreciated at first..too short layed down somethin sweet on pimp or die, while the track with t-boz was cool, and i'm dope had a nice concept..Pop X was just filled with too many ppl, and jazze pha + mack 10 = BAD (keep it gangsta track)...Spousal abuse was horrible, and for sale was a bad mix as well with big gipp and the youngbloodz...ended on a good note with tha weekend thoughAlso let me add that the mack 10 presents: da hood album is very nice...production on that is off the hook..and god damn did techniec kill the joints he was on...ghetto, gutter, gangsta ain't bad eitherwhat y'all think?

I haven't listened to Based on a True Story but Mack 10's self titled is classic IMO. I love almost every song on there especially Here Comes The G
No hate but I'm really suprised that a couple people calling Mack 10's Mack 10 a classic. Do u guys mean just for a Westcoast album or an actual hip-hop classic? I think dude is a pretty dope rapper, but come on now.
Should of reworded it. A westcoast classic. Definently can't compare to some other albums but it's very consistant and dope imo.
