I dunno, but i'm gonna say Stranded On Death Row...cuz that was when i first heard Kurupt (i didnt hear him on Lyrical gangbang, cuz i didnt listen to it yet).  or maybe G Thang cuz thats the song most people remember about it...and thats when Snoop really blew up...

That album is ONE BIG highlight. But if I had to pick one, it'd probably be this song: "The Day The Niggaz Took Over". That is such a dope song its unreal. I feel like im in South Central when I play that song. And indeed, ive talked to people who said "I wanna go to South Central LA one day", and I simply said "you dont need to, just pop in the Chronic [especially the "Day The Niggaz Took Over"] and you'll already be there.

for me the highlights are on every track

the intro-snoop being funny as hell
dre day-that tight ass beat and dre answering all his cridicts
let me ride-the brilliant use of a george clinton hit, the way he sampled it was so unique
the day the niggaz took over-it was so abstract but so dope and how they used jamaican diolect
nuthin but a g thang- THE biggest hit in hip hop history what more can i say
deeez nuts-the nate dogg howls, and the incredible instrumentle at the end...that was sooooo mixed well the layers upon layers are just WOW
lil ghetto boy-the flute solo at the end was tight as hell
a nigga wit a gun-you can't deny that dre ripped the mic on this album
rat tat tat tat- the chorus on this song is one of the tightest i've ever heard
the 20 sack pyramid-this is one of the all time funniest skits
lyrical gangbang-mixes 2 dope rappers in kurupt and rage and mixes old school grime and new age g-funk
high powered-a song to smoke too so funkily pyschodelic
the doctor's office-another funny ass fuckin skit
stranded on deathrow-prooves that westcoast artists can consistantly flow through a song
the roach-funny ass song that goes through the motions of getting high
bitches aint' shit-the title says it all really

all in all the whole album is a highlight ....best rap record ever...period!
