rediscovered Kuruption!

gave this album a few spins for the first time in years and even though considered a big dissapointment when I first bought in '98 it actually is pretty tight especially the West Coast Disc, that Fresh track is something straight out of Death Row 8)

Yeah it was a cool album. The west coast disc was the highlight of the album. Although I thought Kurupt was spittin on that Game track on the East Coast disc. C-Walk was a cold ass song also. Typical double disc, could have been trimmed down to a single disc.

yeah I like It's A Setup, Game and Light Shit Up off of the East Coast disc the rest is really filler to me, The West Coast Disc pretty much is all bangers xcept maybe for a few cuts, that Warren beat on That's Gangsta is really smooth 8)

East coast disc sounded all over the place to me. The west coast disc he had Daz, Warren G, Soopafly, Battlecat and a Dre beat for the majority of the album. Can't beat that. Now if Kurupt would have had a east coast producer like a Pete Rock or someone like Tek Nizzle it would have sounded more cohesive.

true, if he just released the West Coast Disc with the 12 tracks that it had nobody would be talking about how Kurupt fell off cause listening to it now he was definitely spitting heat and the beats were banging, not classic but definitely a solid 4/5

The West Coast CD is banging, and there's several joints off the East Coast disc that are dope. If he took the very best from each disc and put it into one single tracklist, it would've been a classic.

Anyone know who produced track number 11 on the WC disc? It's called "Another Day" but on my booklet there are no credits for it or Dre's track because both were last minute additions.

C Walk is still being bumped in Compton, Watts, Crenshaw area, and West L.A. TO THIS DAY.

C Walk is one of the hardest G songs ever done.

Now I got that beat stuck in my head. I am going to have to throw this back in the ride again.

That C Walk beat is banging I'm gonna try to up it.

"Now Walk On Em..." the  baby synth, those drums, the basseline... it fit Kurupt's 90's flow perfectly.

Does anybody know who produced that track, I copied the cd from my homie years ago.

Mos def gonna have to throw 21 Jumpstreet on that bitch (sorry for getting off topic, but this has gotten me thinkin' about Daz Dillie and how dope he can be)

Don't Waste Time Hating on Kurupt just because he gets the Appreciation that you think YOUR favorite artist deserves. You should try being more Positive about Life and Post about things that YOU LIKE instead of Whining Like a BITCH. Convert All That Hate into Positive Energy to Promote YOUR # 1 Artist. MUTHAFUCCA!
