Of course Kobe deferred so that a spotlight hungry Shaq could be the main option...But Kobe put in just as much work, if not more.

i wanted tickets so bad but i was told they were sold out.I always see the preseason games out here in Vegas when the Lakers come and im glad i got to see the championship teams in person.I would have loved to go see team USA but it may be kind of hard now.

^^^^ Miller can shoot whereas Prince brings some D ... anyways this tournament won't be a pb ... the real deal will be in 08 .. this team will be better offensive wise , now they have to focus on team D .. great on the guard positions but regarding the other 3 it's still so-so

thing is Durant, as talented as he is, won't be ready to play in the Olympics so pickin Prince is more obvious to start to build a team chemistry ...

I wouldn't cut Miller, garcon. You need good jumpshooters in FIBA games. Miller is one of the best 3pt-shooters on the squad. I simply don't know who else to cut out of those 14 players, they are all worth a spot in their own way.
