Nas on Philly Radio Last Night (Friday) Check this

Nas was on Power 99 last night (friday) and they played the song he put out to respond to the roc. He announced that his new album "Stillmatic" will be out
November 6th
and he also announced that he will be hooking back up with the Large Proffessor. The album will have 14 tracks. The interview was pretty deep because it seems he really has changed alot from the last time he's put out an album. He's not so commercial anymore. With large on the beats I'm really excited about this album.
He said that Jay-Z was on NY radio talking about that Nas is his man but then turns his back on him and disses him on stage with michael jackson. He said that jigga wanted him to do songs but he was never down to do it. He said it was making him wonder if there something about him that they lack that they have to have. Thats why they dissed him because he didn't want to do songs with them.
He said they was all sampling his voice but then come back and diss him. He said his album isn't going to be about none of them [rocafella] which means that he probably won't be dissing them on the album but he did say that if someone disses him he's gonna have to get wit them.
He talked about how he doesn't care about who is selling records or not. He said he isn't gonna do a track with Timbaland because he has a hit record out. He said he is gonna be himself and only do songs with artist he likes and
not let the radio affect what you put out
. This was obviously pointed at Jay-z as he puts out commercial records because he knows they will put up mad sales.
He said Jay and them always talking about gangstaz and killaz every album. He said they always gotta talk about ice and shit but nothing else.
He talked about the situation with Cormega but he really didn't go too deep into it. He basically just said that he tries to put people on from his projects on the qb's finest album but he can't make everyone happy.
That was basically it. I heard Jay-z has a response song. I really want to see what he has to offer.

That's EXCELLENT news... NAS will always be my 3rd all time MC behind Pac and Rakim (Jigga is #10, so u see the dif') and despite the ill-fated Nastradamus LP, all his most recent underground shit has been SERIOUS. So I'ma get that joint, no doubt. Nas should also get back with Primo AND Pete Rock for Stillmatic. And he shoud call DRE one more time. 2001 Dre + 2001 Nas could REALLY be some next level shit...
