Because in that case both Rock and HBK will get booed like hell in those cities anyway. One guy went against Hogan and the other isn't liked by Bret. In HBK's case Toronto hated him regardless.

Or are we seeing who can insult a city in such a terrible way? I don't see how you can really insult a whole city. Well yeah, but I don't get offended or even boo anyone that goes against. I was booing HBK when he was the baby face champ in '95/'96. Way before Bret Hart came a long. And I always liked the Rock. I just cheered for heel Hogan and booed him that night because he was against Hogan. Toronto always loved Hogan. I remember a Nitro in Toronto where the whole product sucked and Hogan was as stale as could be but he was streated like it was 1986 when he was in Toronto.

Basically who is more entertaining, and who is better at making that heat matter. I mean Rock and his Hollywood heel character singing in Sacramento that the Lakers were going to beat the Kings was just classic, especially because that video of downtown LA made gave him that edge to a city that already hates LA and anything LA. The Rock was a heel, and was getting heat, but then bam, in one song becomes the most hated man in Sacrament. So we are judging that. Both as heels get major heat, but who is better at making that heat count.

I always preferred Rocky as a heel. Unlike Stone Cold or Hogan, Rock got stale real quick when he was cheered by the fans. When he was a heel, his promos were better and the storylines he was involved in were more interesting.

Most people disagree, but I like the "Hollywood" Rock better than the "Nation/Corporate" era Rock.
