Philadelphia, PA. August 20, 2007. On August18, 2007 at the prestigious Rittenhouse Hotel, JoVan Brumfield and Ricardo Brown, Jr. a.k.a. Gail Gotti and Kurupt exchanged wedding vows in an elaborate ceremony. Philadelphia, hometown of Kurupt welcomed the couple and 170 of their closest friends and family members for this joyous occasion.

Gail said, “Our wedding was perfect. It was elegant, personal, simple and fun. The day was filled with everything I ever dreamed of and more!”

While most celebrities prefer to have large lavish weddings filled with Hollywood A-listers, and non-stop media attention, the couple wanted their day to be private and special. While there were some high profile celebrities in attendance, the day was about the couple and their love for one another. They really just wanted to have the people who were most important in their lives be there to share this day with them. Their publicist Melissa Haje Sera said, “this is just another example in along list that differentiates them from other high profile couples. Everything was so upscale and elegant just like they are.”

The ceremony started at 3pm and the reception began at 8pm. While the reception was scheduled to end at midnight, everyone, including the couple danced the night away into the early hours of the morning while close friends and Xm Radio personalities Dj Nina 9 & Dj Xclusive kept the party moving playing all of their favorite tunes.
Kurupt said, “I’m still speechless. Gail really out did herself with putting the entire wedding together. Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end, and I married the perfect woman, I couldn't of asked for more!”

What is in store for the newlyweds? The Gotti’s are both focusing on solo albums and they will continue to focus on the most important thing intheir life; their family.
