Well none of them are in their prime anymore but lets break it down because i think that each one of these mc's bring there own quality as to why they have been number 1.

Ice cube : Vicious rhymes, feared mc to diss back in the days. Knowledgable and consicous.

Snoop Dogg : Flow, biggest dopest flow out of all those guy

Eminem : Punch lines, rhymes

Nas : Deep deep knowledge, student of the game, student of life.

Cube, then Nas. As much as I love Snoop, he's not the MC the rest of them are. Eminem probably has the best pure lyrical ability, followed closely by Nas. But being an MC is more than ryhming, Cube is a great lyricist but he also tells great stories with his tracks which not many people can do. I mean Death Certificate is like a novel, when I listen to songs like Steady Mobbin, Summer Vacation, Doin Dumb Shit I'm right there with Cube in South Central, its like he's painting a picture. Cube 90-91 is untouchable.
