OMG! E40 is one of the most respected rappers out west. him among others started the whole independent selling out your truck mentality. he has put out great music for years. obviously you've never listened to In A Major Way, that album is off the chain. i understand if you dont feel 40, thats cool, but to just say he'll 'never be considered tight' is absolute bullshit. i mean, he sells near gold on every album.

Thats some weak shit. like i said, i love Snoop and all, but im not going to disrespect  someone who's been putting it down for years and is highly respected just cuz Snoop may or may not have funk with him.

I'm Not Hating, I'm Just Saying He's Wack... I TRIED Really Hard To Get Into 40, And Some Of His Stuff Is Dope.  I Bought 3 Albums Of His, And Couldn't Get Into That Sh*t, It's Just My Opinion.  I REalize He's A Vet, And I Always Rep Him On Our Site (When An Album Drops That I Hear About, LOL), But I'm Not Into Him.

A gold record dats released on an independent label is like a 1.5 million records sold if u were on a label like dogghouse, So E40's gettin his dough. He's been in tha game since 1987 and every album he's dropped has gone at least gold.

And 4 u people dat said snoop doesn't claim dat these words are his, yall are wrong, About a year ago in a show( I think BET Live) they asked him what's some new words dat he's created on his slanguage dictionary and he said pleezbalievit, putting it as one word. Dats a major diss 2 tha bay.
People in tha bay area really care about the slangs dat they make 4 some reason.
Words like fo'sheezy and nizzle were all created here. Actually fosheezy waz created by 3xcrazy in oakland.

And another thing, Master P waz supposed 2 make a video of his song "pop ya collar", dat featured snoop here in tha bay wit E40 2 make cameos. But E40 turned him down 4 some reason, so tha video waz neva done.

I seriously can't get into E40. It's cool that he is a big part of westcoast rap, but I just can't get into him. His flow isn't at all a flow. I'm not hating on him, but I just cant listen to his songs. The only song I can get into is Nah Nah Nah because it  has Nate and its produced by Battlecat...otherwise his flow is mumble jumble

  That's exactly how I feel.

  I know E-40 didnt make up ALL that slanguage... he did have alot to do with it though. Over the years he's been known for making up crazy shit.... now everyone kinda expects him to come up with new words.... so he does.

  Snoop may not be on Talk Shows claimin he made that Slanguage up but he sure does lead unknowing people to believe he did. How does he do that? By using it in every video, makin it like some sort of Snoop Dogg Trademark. By making his own shoe line called "Thizzle"

  EVEN PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD think that "Izzle" stuff belongs to Snoop. Read the thread titled "Anybody Heard That New Jay Z Song?" and read about how Jay Z is biting SNOOP'S "Izzle" thing.
