some death row info
« on: September 20, 2007, 01:12:08 AM »
The night 2pac was shot in 1996 Craig Mack performed at Club 662 and announced he had left Bad Boy Records and signed with Death Row East. Run DMC also performed that night.

Death Row East was going to be ran by Eric B (who also has a son with Virginya Slimm)

The Death Row East logo was going to be the man from the original logo but standing up with the chair in the background. The man would be holding up one arm to symbolize the likeliness of the statue of liberty.

Dr. Dre was being phased out before 2pac arrived, 2pac's arrival and him using Dre's new single "California Love" was the explatation point on dre's death row control.

Kilo2 likes men.

When N.I.N.A. came to Death Row she brought Natina Reed with her, she was the 'princess' Suge refered to at one point.

When 2pac died many speculated that he was ripped off by Death Row Records. The cars given to 2pac were not in his name due to the fact that rapper and celbrities on his level do not keep cars for over a year, they always get something new. So Death Row had deals with car dealerships in Beverly Hills that would bring cars over as they arrived. Noone knew 2pac was going to die so why would he be given a car that he would only drive for 4-5 months? recording time (studio), music videos, and advances are all forms of payment or is deducted from your revenue. 2pac shot a shitload of videos and recorded constatley. He would also call the office and would be given envelopes duck taped closed with $100,000.00 cash in them numerous times a week. When 2pac died Interscope called Afeni and gave her a check for 3 million dollars that they claimed they were "saving for 2pac".

"R U Still Down" was a album interscope was trying to release for years. When interscope was sued by Jive Records for R Kelly's role on the Sparkle album they settled out of court. Part of that settlement included "R U Still Down". Thats how Jive got that album, however 2pac's Death Row contract clearly stated Suge would own that album. To this day Suge says thats "his shit". cant disagree.

2pac and Suge would attend house parties in Compton on weekly basis. The photo from "Too Gangsta For Radio" is from one of those parties. There are boxes of 'sex' photos of 2pac and others with girls from those parties. These photos were siezed by the FBI when the office was raided after Suge got out of jail. I never saw the photos and would never want to, Im sure Kilo would though.

Wack Deuce, Danny Boy, and a few other younger artists artists were being bred as the next generation in 1996 by Suge.

"Dead Man Walkin" was going to be titled "M.O.B."

Suge is working on a photo book containing nothing but candid never before seen photos.

Don't Waste Time Hating on Kurupt just because he gets the Appreciation that you think YOUR favorite artist deserves. You should try being more Positive about Life and Post about things that YOU LIKE instead of Whining Like a BITCH. Convert All That Hate into Positive Energy to Promote YOUR # 1 Artist. I like men? If that's the case John Hyland likes men who look like women, because he can't get the real thing.

it was a process of dre loosing power...thats how i understand it...suge was making the decisions...dre stayed at home most of the time....and suge signing tupac and making him the new star on tha row and forcing dre to give his hit record to pac was the final nail in the coffin
