Tristar has been a top prospect out of Los Angeles and now he is ready to break out and show the rest of the world what those of us that are up on the L.A. rap scene have known for good while. Mentored by brother duo of Kurupt & Roscoe, Tristar has been crafting his skill as a part of their crew Y.A. (Young Assassins), however, Tristar although still a major part of that crew is now a solo artist signed to the upstart label Jaded Entertainment. Tristars album has been given a late January/early February 2008 release date with the first single already revealed as Dresscode which can be seen and heard on www.tristar.cc I had the opportunity to first interview Tristar back in 2004 along with Kurupt and the rest of the Y.A. camp and then once again in 2006 before he put out his mixtape with DJ Strong. Now Ive caught up again with the young promising star to get the first official word about the next step in career.
