past century? more like past 2/3 of a century or so. Teddy Roosevel (turn of the century Republican) was a hella strong advocate of the common man. He was probably the last Republican president of that nature though.

have you forgot our current 8 year president, and his father before him?

and then 90% of every republican president we had before were slave owners, sold drugs, and said everyone that wasnt white in color is against the united states.
