if dre can play the keyboard like he claims then he shhould just play clarinet on the keyboard!?!?  + live instruments are rare these days in music, it susually  

DRUMS/DRUM MACHINE
BASS MACHINE/BASS GUITAR
SYNTHESIZER
KEYBOARD
TURNTABLES POSSIBLE
MIXER (COULD USE TURNTABLES)

and that is all or on some cases just live instruments

like i siad the clarenet on the keyboard is cheap, dre wants the real thing on his song, so he hires a pro clarenet player. he uses the keyboards for the oregon and piano on songs

Colin Wolf was from the Chronic days when he played bass.  He actually played the riff to "Deep Cover" for Dre.  He was only on one song for "2001," and that was on bass for "Xxplosive."
