Whatever happened to Eminem's accent?

Listen to Infinite and Pre SSLP Eminem and then listen to The Eminem Show or even MMLP, what happened to his accent in between, do you guys think it was part of interscope's image packaging deal to get Em to sound more white or is it one of those things where you just develop your voice more.

i don't think his downfalls from not takin drugs

its probably that he's uninspired and just kinda tired of doin hiphop music altogether as now he's big time in the biz and he sees all the lameness that actually goes on or maybe he just kinda grew out of it and realizes he's gotta stay in the game so as he ages to do that you have to get out of being the rapper and go into the production or behind the scenes aspect of it.
