props to infinite for pointing these articles out for you. the article in eq magazine was as close as your gonna get to a dre recording session unless your lucky enough to sit in a studio and watch dre work. the article in keyboard magazine was also very good especially the first part where tommy talks about dre  directing the musicians by telling them what he wants, what instruments to use, humming the sounds he wants and directing everything from start to finish. once in a while the musicians do work on their own that dre likes and lets the musicians run with. but in the end dre puts everything together and tweaks, adds and changes what he feels necessary. a few times i've talked about what a recording session with dre is like. its gets pretty technical thats why i never talk too much about that. again the eq magazine article does a really nice job of going into the equipment. most of it is pretty foreign to most of you, though. and the eq article also gives great respect to the other members of dre's team. everyone plays an important part of dre's team. dre is the leader but dre will always point out how important every member of the team is to the final product. so of you may ask, where's melman? don't worry he's most definetly around. but there are many projects going on at the same time so melman has been away from dre a lot of times. but don't worry they are still working together and will continue to.
both articles put together go through virtually every step in dre's production formula. the article also shows the incredible knowledge dre has about instruments, producing, mixing, engineering and the equipment he uses.
thats why unless you actually sit in the studio and watch dre work you don't realize the truly unbelievable talent that dre has. and its ignorant, stupid and embarrassing to judge dre's talents unless you see in person how hard he works and how much he knows about putting a record together.
so again thanks to infinite for letting you know about these things. i wish i had more time to do this for you but with the various studios and the huge numbers of people who go in and out of them daily i forget about a lot of the media that gets access to the studio. so thanks to anyone who helps to let you know about the articles or tv appearances involving dre. thanks again, infinite59. peace.

Yo mellowman; do you know when Mary J's single will drop?  Or will we have to wait for her whole album?
