The Chronic had 4 and Doggystyle had 3 and the Murder was the case soundtrack, seems to me that Suge was pullling that bullshit didn't really promote it right or something am i missing here?

smooth was originally suppossed to be the first single. I'm pretty sure they wanted to use the hype of the east vs west and make NY NY the big single

Dogg Food was originally supposed to come out in the summer of 1995 but Death Row kept pushing it back until it finally came out in October, I think the constant push back of the album killed some of the buzz off but my personal opinion is that Suge did not see the album doing more than the usual 2 million that bascially their soundtracks were doing at the time and not the numbers that a Dre, Snoop or Pac album would do so they just stopped promoting it after a couple of videos
