Space Boogie or Personal Business
« on: July 05, 2001, 07:12:50 AM »
Based on the 1st singles/videos.  I'm feeling that
Bad Azz joint.  But I'll see when their albums drop.
The Source gave Personal Business good reviews but that was when Snoop was featured on 1 song.  Hope seven Snoop appearances doesn't wreck the album.
Good luck to Rupt & Bad cuz "if it wasn't for the west these rap n*gg*s wouldn't need a vest":

I never heard a new single from kurupt yet but I'm looking forward to that more then bad azz's cd. I will still cop both but I'm really hoping kurupt sells alittle more then his last album. His last album was dope and it's fucked up when a cat can't get sells because he doesn't get on trl and 106 and park.

What I'm hearin so far bout "Space Boogie" the album seems a lot more "soft."  I heard his first single ain't all that either, I'm also not lookin forward to the Limp/Everlast joints.  I'm still def gonna cop this record cause Kurupt is tha shiznit.

I'm lookin forward to "Personal Business" because Bad Azz is tight and he's got the right people to back him up.  This will be a fun album to listen to.

i have Space Boogie in MP3 (don't worry i'm buying.. so don't f'n trip)

and in my eyes its about as good as Tha Streetz.. as for the Everlast and Fred Durst songs... how can you judge a song you've never heard before? those two songs are actually not bad.. Kurupt comes off tight on both.. and i'm really feelin the hook Everlast dishes out. overall i'd say the album is straight heat.. West Coast and Rap in general classic.. easily the best album i've heard this year.. and hell maybe even last year included!

the 7 Snoop appearances will wreck that album like the shitload of appearances Kokane had on Tha Last Meal.  Kurupt's album is waaaaaaay better than Bad Azz.  Snoop has taken over this entire project, and it shows in the music.  Kurupt had control over his album and it is tight, especially that song he did with Quik.  bad Azz's first album is much tighter than Personal Business.

Well it's official The Source gave Rupt another 4Mics.
It seems like Kurupt album is looking better and better through all the reviews and online replys.
