i m sorry to say that but kurupt is wack
« on: July 06, 2001, 04:24:42 AM »
after listening to space boogie a few times i m kinda tired of listening to his raps---

´the other poeps on this album outshine him...

his lyrics are just to simple...

every third word is bitch

if it wasn t for the beats and the guests ( snoop , x , daz , nate , ren,soopa )

this album would be shit

he used to be better , way better...

right now  he s my least favorite mc on dp
snoops rap are pretty good right now IMO
nate is on top of his game
daz s still dope
but kurupt annoys the fuck out of me...

thats my opinion about him right now

holla back and let me see what u think bout his raps on SB
peace

Yeah, Sometimes LOL... Some Of Them

his lyrics are just to simple...

Some Of His Lyrics Are Simple, But Some Are Still Dope

every third word is bitch - This Is His BIGGEST Problem. He Ruined Xxxplosive.

if it wasn t for the beats and the guests ( snoop , x , daz , nate , ren, soopa ) - Beats DID Make This Album.  Guests WERE Tight

he used to be better , way better... - True.

right now  he s my least favorite mc on dp
snoops rap are pretty good right now IMO - YES, YES THEY ARE
nate is on top of his game - YES, YES HE IS
daz s still dope - Yeah, On DPG, Daz Was Tighter On The Mic Then Kurupt
but kurupt annoys the fuck out of me... - SOMETIMES.

I Think The Song "Space Boogie" Though Shows That He's Still Lyrically On Point. Tight, Tight Song.

BTW, Remember, On "It's Over", Kurupt Wrote Natina's Lines, And She Wrote His, So You Can't Judge That Song.

I Think Kurupt's Still Alright, He's Not As Tight As Before, But He Still Comes Correct From Time To Time.  His Bitch Raps Are Getting Very Annoying.

i ain't listened to the album yet but knowing kurupt he's at that time of his life where he's like hmmm i've been on for a while now and i've been on some of the greatest records ever ...i got respect, but i don't have nothing to show for it (success) so he took the xzibit way to the top, and i guess one way to make it to the top you gotta dumb your lyrics down a bit, but once you have mainstreams attention you can go back to ripping the mic

to be honest i don't know what i just said i didn't go to sleep last night and i'm a lil' off my rocker ,lol, peace

it also attracted attention to me that in some songs kurupt don`t comes correct as usual.
i also thought that on the dpg.
but there are though others with fresh rhymes.

but the kurupt album showed me once again how tight dj quik is and what a shame it is that he is so underrated from the public.
i can`t explain how much i`m lookin for his next album.

its a paradox aint it..

how /why does he do this?

he drops fire... then ___________ <-- flatline.. fuck a snitch bitch trick bitch sux dicks - i mean.. what the fuck?

i think he does it on purpose to make his verses look better when he doesnt do that  :o

seriously tho.. we do know from people like ras kass etc that a 'pure  mc' directed album doesnt sell... he's trying to collect all elements of his past - and what he wants for the future on this.. theres a big mix... so it will appeal to many people on many levels - theres dope shit, and theres pop shit, theres shit with the usual suspects snoop, dre, xzibit, daz so he can appeal to their fans.. u dig?

yeah but he doesn t necessarily have to make wack lyrics

em is annoying and shit but he always tries to be on point...

just for example

dope beatz + dope lyrics = classic

kurupt shits aight because of the lack of creativity
