Damizza Plants A "Seed Of Memory" For Troops - December 6, 2007 By : Eddie

Since we've last heard from Damizza, the multi-talented producer and CEO has been very busy working on numerous new projects. In the midst of his non-stop recording sessions, one of his songs found its way onto the internet.

The track, called "Seed Of Memory 2007," is a remake of a classic Terry Reid song of the same name that was dedicated to the World War II troops. Damizza and Reid jumped in the studio to update the song for the soldiers in Iraq, with the intention of including it on Mizza's forthcoming politically-conscious "Ill Clinton" project.

The song turned out so well that it is currently slated as the first single from the album. However, unbeknownst to Damizza or Reid, the track was leaked onto the internet, and a talented fan put together a collage-type video set to the song that has found a life of its own on Youtube. In the past few days since the video dropped, Damizza has received hundreds of emails from inspired fans - many of which have family or friends currently stationed in Iraq. The song has helped them cope with their current situation, which led Damizza to state that "this has been the most touching experience of my musical career."
