since it sold 4x in usa, it also sold 4x in other countries combined.. thats the way its often ... so 8x platinum worldwide

Platinum in other countries is different from America. For example in Canada selling 100,000 is going platinum.

Yea... this is still very successful, though.  Even though the numbers are different, it's proportional, so if you go gold or plat in that many countries, you're doing pretty good.

In italy: gold= 50.000 copies
          platinum= 100.000 copies

It's only 100 000 in Canada cuz we have about ten times less people than the states.  It goes by per capita.

in belgium they sold gold, witch means that they sold ariund 10 000 copies .. in sweden they sold 2x platinum witch is equal to 80 000 cpies (2 x 40 000)
