it's called the TALK BOX...Roger Troutman And Zapp were the first to use it back in the 80's...it shows how they do it in the Cali Love video...its a tube which you put into your mouth that is attached to a piano/organ and whenever you say something and press the keys on the organ your tone of voice will match the key tone...

its a voice changer........i think it modifies or ups and slows down the tempo and pitch of a persons voice,

roger troutmans is famous for using em, a good example is short times - 5 footaz ft roger troutman, i dunno wat they look like tho, but theyll probs cost a shitload, some1 shed some light on this thread........

Bang on... apparently its really hard to use ( unlike the digital effects equipment used now by people like cher).

The old analog talk-box described above works on saliva fed back down the tube. (ewww!)
