Freeway went to Hajj  in Mekkah last year and he has and talks about it in an interview in a recent XXL.

And as for Nas the reason why I listed him as being AFFILIATED with the 5% Nation Of Islam sect is because his lyrics are so heavily influenced by 5% idealogy.  The 5%'s believe that the black man was the origional human being and that the first discoveries of civilization were on the Nile (Ancient Egypt) and you can't get a dark offspring from a light person but you can get light from dark.  Therefore, all subsequent generations and races were CREATED by the black man, thus a quality of God is being Creator so you hear Nas calling other black men and himself "God" on many of his records.  The fact that he says this so often is proof enough of his affiliation to the 5% percenters.

Universal Islam teaches that the only thing worthy of worship is the origional Creator of all things and that he is infinite, eternal, has no beggining or end, and can not be compared to anything within his creation.  So obviously, Universal Islam and the 5% percenters (who understand I.S.L.A.M. = to mean I Self Lord And Master) have a different understanding in the most fundamental principal in Islam.

Also, about Nas, his real name, Nasir, was given to him by his father.  His father is an orthodox Muslim and follower of Imam W. D. Muhammad's leadership (falls under the category of universal Islam).   The 5th to last chapter in the Qu'ran is named "Nasir" (which means "help" in English) and the last chapter of the Qu'ran is called "Nas" (which means mankind in English).

But anyway Nas wasn't raised by his Muslim father he was raised by his Christian mother.  Then later as a teeneager he was influenced by his favorite rapper Rakim whom he made a dedication track to in Streets Disciple saying he could "make a Christian change to Islam".

I tought to write " Lost Children Of Babylon" but the way of Islam they live is similar to El Kaida's way... So i dont wanna call them Muslim... Because El Kaidaa also cannot be muslim... They are killing innocent people in the name of Allah and it's one of the worst sins in Islam. I dont wanna open a discuss about El Kaide is an emperialist project. Yeah I think Nas is maybe like the 5th percent. He claimed himself to be "God Son" he made an album with this name... It's like he is claiming to be Jesus... Because many people said Jesus was black.
