I know they were playing a tough Jags defense but still, he looked AWFUl and he proved why Lane doenst feel comfortable with him..

He looked bad, but the Jags are tough, Fargas was out, and they aren't playing at full speed. His biggest problem right now is that he is so far behind, he didn't play in preseason, he left college a year early, and he has had limited reps with the offense. It's not like a running back or wide receiver where you just have to learn what you are doing, get the ball and do what you always do. A QB has to know everything, and have all the timing and rhythm down. Hopefully he develops good and the Raiders become a good team, it's boring to hate on them when they are so bad .

youre assuming Plunkett is Dilfer and Young is Marino tho. Marino was obviously better then Young, and Dilfer is nowhere near Plunkett. We're not comparing two QBs that are at opposite ends of the spectrum so rings are relevent. Especially when Young played with some great teams.
